Did you know?
Boulder Valley School District has an amazing preschool program that offers half-price and full scholarships! Children who are 3 or 4 years old by October 1 of the year of enrollment are eligible to attend BVSD preschools.
We invite you to learn how we can partner with your family to make preschool learning a reality for your child, no matter what your circumstances or your child’s learning needs.
Access for all, no matter what
On October 6th, our preschools began in-person learning two half-days a week, combined with two half-days of home learning. However, if you aren’t comfortable sending your child to school, you can continue with “home learning only” until you are.
We work with every family to make our program affordable, so if paying for preschool is a concern, please let us know and we will explore options with you.
Learning that fits your child
Every day, Boulder Valley School District preschools partner with families to develop each child’s unique strengths in a fun, nurturing learning environment. Our teachers are focused on getting to know your child and understanding their interests, strengths, and areas of growth. We are committed to meeting your child’s learning goals whether through home learning, hybrid learning, or in-person school.
Just because our preschools are a ton of fun doesn’t mean your child isn’t growing in leaps and bounds. Our teachers all hold Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education, and our curriculum prepares children for kindergarten through play. When you are learning from home, BVSD will provide you the activities and materials you need to participate.
Learning that fits your life
We know families are juggling a lot of competing demands. That’s why our live virtual learning sessions are short (15 to 20 minutes), and you are free to work with your child to complete pre-recorded preschool lessons when it’s most convenient for you.
Boulder Valley School District preschools are committed to being here for our communities. During home learning, we are providing a computer and internet access to any family that needs it. Our preschool community liaisons are also available to connect you with community resources and support as you navigate home learning while raising your children under extraordinary circumstances. Finally, your child may qualify for transportation to and from preschool.
