Eligibility

The perfect age to spark learning.
The BVSD Preschool program offers an exceptional learning opportunity for children ages 3 to 4 years of age, who are not yet age eligible for Kindergarten. A child must reach his or her fifth birthday on or before September 30th to be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment. Our program offers four half day preschool sessions Tuesday through Friday in 18 of the BVSD elementary schools and follows the BVSD school-year calendar. Additional full day options are also available at our new Mapleton Early Childhood Center.

Readiness

Ready. Set. Learn.
For every young learner, the transition from play at home to interacting and learning in a school environment is exciting and unique. Being ready for this transition is more than just being ready to learn to read and write. Young learners also need to have the social and emotional skills to make friends, focus, ask questions, interact with teachers and be happy and confident. Our play-based learning is the perfect way to ease young students into school and help them have all the tools they need to be ready learners in Kindergarten and beyond.
